There was a ton of road kill on the way to our first campsite and it was blazing hot while we were riding and still hot at night when we were camped. Finding campsites has not been hard at all and this group is bold! We camped our first night out at a model airplane flying field and had no problem with anyone telling us to leave, even though we were very out in the open.

Our first show in Carbondale was not very well attended, but it was good none-the-less.

Adhamh was right about all of us getting along. We are a group of six and so far, our group dynamic is awesome. I am really enjoying getting to know folks and feel that by the end of the trip, we will really be a cohesive bike community/village.
