It features the bright talents of Page Foster and Jackie Wochos on harmony vocals, Celeste Abril Ixchel on musical saw, Ben Willis on upright bass, Scott Caldwell on drums and the spectacular playing of Marissa Reinholz on viola. The cover art and design (pictured below)  is by Tyler Norman.

Warm, lush and sometimes haunting sounds surround the songwriting and solo voice in this recording. With the contributions of so many talented musicians, it is a solid rock gem that will last through time. Grassroutes Caravans are large group bike rides to that I help to organize. We did the Soular Ride to the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair in Custer, WI in June, 2011, the Madtown2Motown Ride to Detroit in 2010 for the US Social Forum and the PNC2RNC Bike ride of Resistance to the Republican National Convention in St. Paul in 2008.

This year, we are riding bikes in a mobile village to the NATO protests in Chicago in May of 2012. Stay tuned for details! Check the Grassroutes Caravan web site to stay completely up-to-date.

We love you Calico Future! Remember the great life of Jen Futrell, Eco-warrior woman who was hit by a car while riding her bike home from work.  Jen drove her truck, Black Betty, up from Louisville to Madison the Summer of ’08 to be food support for the PNC2RNC bike ride.

I have a studio-recorded album with awesome art by Kat Beyer from 2008. Several Madison musicians contribute to the album and it sounds amazing due to the engineering and production talents of Matthew Sanborn. Click on this box to buy Animal Dreams!
